UJI MATCHA CONTROLLED APPELATION 50G ORGANIC CERTIFIED
This Matcha is quite special because it is a real Uji Matcha, the cradle of tea. It is in a way the "Saint Emilion" of the matcha world. To obtain this controlled appellation, the Tencha leaves must be ground in Kyoto and come from tea plants grown exclusively in the departments of Mie, Nara, Shigae or Kyoto.
The flavors of this Matcha are umami, warm, creamy with a very balanced bitterness.
Packaged in a protective atmosphere in Kyoto, Japan in a 50g welded doypack. Matcha imported by plane and kept in a cold room until your order is sent.
TIP:
- The water temperature must be between 70 and 80 degrees. If you used a temperature between 90 and 100 degrees it would burn the tea and develop bad flavors.
- Using your Chasen, whisk the Matcha using movements reminiscent of the letter M. Your Ceremonial or Imperial Matcha has a very fine powder, this will facilitate easy dissolution, and you will obtain a very nice foam and a creamy Matcha.
