With its rice in a popcorn version and its spring sencha, this genmaicha is ideal for rediscovering this classic of Japanese teas. The appearance is classic but the very dark green tea leaves promise a nice presence of tea. After infusion, the aromatic notes confirm it and, if the rice is a little dominant, the tea is there. On the palate, we find the vegetal notes of tea and a very slight astringency, for a length in the mouth that is quite rare on this type of tea. The rice, grilled and puffed, obviously brings its gourmet notes sought after by amateurs. A guaranteed tasting pleasure, alone or during a meal, for this very beautiful genmaicha!
