Excellent value for money for a very fresh Darjeeling First Flush which has all the characteristic flavours of the first harvest teas from this region, fresh, floral, orange blossom.
Harvest date: Early April 2024, DJ'12, one of the first production batches of the plantation.
The plantation: Okayti is one of the oldest plantations in Darjeeling, the beginnings date back to 1880, when the estate was called Rangdoo Tea Estate. The plantation is located in the Mirik Valley, only about fifteen km from the Nepalese border. The plantation is located between 1200 and 1600m above sea level.
