A look at the dry leaves assures us of the fine quality of this tea. After infusion, the notes olfactory leaves are powerful and incredibly rich. The liquor is a beautiful pale yellow. A first infusion with the gaiwan produces a rather unctuous liquor, a slightly sweet flavor and sublime vegetal and gourmet notes. There is a very pleasant mineral sensation. A word from our contact in Taiwan: The leaves are collected from over 200 growers and are processed in Mr. Lee's factory. Picking style in San Xia arera is a little bit different from other places, where growers pick leaves every 10-14 days. Only the young bud is harvested and sold to Mr Lee. The bigger leaves are sold to bigger factories to produce lower grade teas. According to the fresh leaves condition Mr Lee sort the leaves and decides what type of tea he is going to make such as green tea, Black Tea or Lung Jing Tea.
Garden management: Mr Lee's teas are known for their high purity. This product has been tested in the laboratory on a total of more than 500 pesticides, the test result is immaculate.
