SOURENEE SECOND FLUSH SFTGFOP1 ORGANIC CERTIFIED

Indian black tea produced by the Darjeeling Sourenee plantation from the leaves of the second harvest of the year, at the end of May and beginning of June.

This tea composed of brown oxidized leaves and dotted with small silver and golden buds is sweet, round and fruity. It is not very bitter with a very good length in the mouth.

The Sourenee plantation is very old in Darjeeling but is not widely distributed in Europe, however it produces excellent teas. The plantation stretches from 800 to 1500m above sea level in the valley of the Mirik River which descends from the Himalayas and runs along the Nepalese border.

Infusion advice: Lightly mineralized water at 80 degrees, 1.5g of leaves for 10cl of water, 2 to 4 minutes of infusion depending on the desired intensity
