JINXUAN TORRÉFIÉ
Black tea made in Doi Mae Salong with the Jinxuan cultivar. Like our Jinxuan black teas, it develops sweet, fruity prune-like flavors. However, this tea has been roasted in an oven more than usual, which gives it very interesting notes, toasted, pyrogenic, almost smoky.
This tea comes from the village of Doi Mae Salong, in the mountains of northern Thailand, on the Burmese border. Former lands of poppy production, these lands are now dedicated to the production of high quality tea. Although the plantation we work with does not have European organic certification, we are reassured by the tests we carry out and the confidence in the farmer when he promises us that these teas are produced in a natural way without treatment of pesticides.
