Rarity. Tencha is produced by the harvest of tea trees that have been shaded 20 to 30 days before harvest. The leaves are then steam and dried, without going through the kneading process. Tencha is normally exclusively sent to be ground into fine powder known as Matcha. Infused in hot water, the result is delicately mellow and round green tea. It is a treat as Ice Tea.
