Stem teas are often everyday teas, full of charm, but rather simple. Here, we have a top-of-the-range stem tea, the taste of which has nothing to envy to the best leaf teas. The stems are very green, the olfactory notes very powerful and frankly vegetal. The ocher liquor is crystal clear and the dominant flavor is clearly umami. We take great pleasure in keeping this tea in the mouth. It is full of sweetness and even evokes certain gyokuro. It can be infused several times, which will further accentuate the sweet and gourmet impression that emerges from this very beautiful tea!
Prepare this hot tea: Infuse 2g for 100ml of filtered water at 70° for 2 minutes.
Prepare this iced tea: Infuse 2 tablespoons in 1.5L of Volvic or filtered water at room temperature. Place your container in the fridge and leave to infuse for 30 minutes to 1 hour. when the infusion is ready, filter the leaves using a tea strainer or by slowly transferring the liquor into another container.
Tips: You can add ice cubes, but it's optional, it will keep your iced tea cold, but on the other hand will dilute it and reduce its intensity significantly.
Iced tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
