Sannenbancha is a roasted tea which has the particularity of having been aged for 3 years in airtight bags before being put on sale. This 3-year maturation brings deeper flavors with greater complexity.
This Sannenbancha is composed only of stems, which brings more roundness to the cups. Also, the stems naturally contain less theine than the leaves, and roasting also reduces this content, which gives a tea that can be consumed at any time of the day.
