This teapot is everything one would expect of a good tea making instrument in any situation, casual or more sophisticated, and for any tea the moment dictates.
Porcelain is light, resistant (despite popular belief), offers precise tolerances and high precision. It is a perfectly neutral material as opposed to raw clays which color the taste of tea.
When making fragrant teas like high mountain oolongs, the porcelain acts as a mirror to reflect all the aromas and tastes of the leaves. In our experience, porcelain gives the best results and is often found in the equipment of experienced tea masters.
