Cacao Nibs of Peruvian origin from the Chanchamayo province in the North-East of the country. This batch of cocoa beans was roasted in France by an artisan chocolatier.

Cacao nibs are small pieces of roasted and crushed cocoa beans. They are pure, unsweetened cocoa nibs, which have an intense and slightly bitter taste, reminiscent of dark chocolate.

How are they obtained?

  • Harvesting cocoa beans
  • Fermentation and drying of the beans
  • Roasting to develop the aromas
  • Crushing to break the beans into small pieces, which are called nibs
  • Removal of the shell to keep only the edible interior

How to consume them?

  • In a yogurt or smoothie
  • Mixed with granola or porridge
  • In baking, to add crunch
  • To nibble as is, for lovers of intense chocolate
