The particularity of this matcha is that it is very suitable for the preparation of Koicha, "thick tea" or thick matcha, a concentrated matcha preparation with a very homogeneous texture. The flavors of this matcha prepared in Koicha are very sweet, Umami, and very little bitter.

How to prepare a Koicha matcha: Use 4 to 5g of matcha for 4cl of water between 65 and 75 degrees, then mix slowly with the Chasen (whisk).
