STICKY RICE OOLONG

"An original and gourmet oolong"

Mixed with NuoMiXiang leaves, this very good quality oolong promises a taste full of richness. The rolled leaves show a fairly green color, indicating that this oolong is little oxidized. After infusion, the aromas are strongly influenced by the NuoMiXiang leaves and are very reminiscent of sticky rice. The liquor is a beautiful golden yellow. On the palate, we find the sweetness and freshness of oolong and the expected gourmet notes of rice. In a beautiful balance, this tea, which will be able to withstand many infusions, will be suitable for a simple tasting as well as to accompany a meal.

Our Oolongs come from the village of Doi Mae Salong, in the mountains of northern Thailand, on the Burmese border. Former poppy production areas, these lands are now dedicated to the production of high quality tea. Although the plantation with which we work does not have European organic certification, we are reassured by the tests we carry out and the confidence in the farmer when he promises us that these teas are produced in a natural way without pesticide treatment.
