DANCONG OOLONG PHOENIX HONEY ORCHID (MI LAN XIANG)
Superb Oolong tea from the Fenghuang mountains, the Phoenix Mountains, located in the province of Guangdong in southern China, a few kilometers north of the city of Chao Zhou.
The flavors are very floral, reminiscent of the orchid, with sweet, honeyed flavors. It is a very extremely enduring that you can re-infuse many times.
This Dancong tea is named Mi La Xiang, or Honey Orchid. Teas from the Phoenix Mountains are called Dancong, and they are then segmented into different sub-categories which reflect their flavors, fragrances, almond, ginger, iris flower, jasmine flower, ... and of course the perfume of honey/orchid, our tea.
These teas are unique, they are obtained after a strict selection of tea trees growing almost exclusively on the Fenghuang Mountains (Phoenix Mountains) where the best individuals have been chosen and cut year after year.
Infusion: In Gong Fu Cha, 5g of tea per 10cl of water, 90 degrees and 30 to 40 seconds of infusion for the first infusion, then 20 seconds for the following infusions. It is of course also possible to infuse this tea in large teapots, do not hesitate to push the infusion, 4 to 5 minutes, it will not develop any unpleasant bitterness.
