PEACH OOLONG
Flavors: Peach
"A Cup of Sunshine"
A delicate blend of black tea and oolong tea (a semi-oxidized Chinese tea, low in theine) combined with wonderful aromas of peach and goji berries make this tea a must for our moments of calm and indulgence. Black tea and oolong complement each other well and produce a robust and aromatic liquor. Fishing transports us to summer moments and will comfort us. Oolong tea, rolled into balls, will withstand many infusions. We will like to prepare this tea for our afternoons of relaxation, or we will sip it accompanied by a good book.
Ingredients: Assam black tea, lightly oxidized Chinese Oolong Tung Ting tea rolled into pearls, natural peach flavor, Goji berries, marigold flowers
Preparation Tips:
- Water Temperature: Heat the water to around 80°C to allow the floral aromas to fully reveal themselves.
- Brewing Time: Brew for 2 to 3 minutes for optimal taste. You can adjust the brewing time according to your preference for the intensity of the aromas.
Preparation tips for cold brew iced tea:
Ingredients:
- 20g of your favorite tea
- Cold or room temperature water.
Preparation:
Step 1: In a carafe or large bottle, add the tea.
Step 2: Pour cold or room temperature water into the carafe. For a stronger flavor, you can use lightly filtered or spring water.
Cold infusion:
Step 3: Gently mix the tea leaves in the water to distribute them evenly.
Step 4: Place the carafe or bottle in the refrigerator. Let it steep for 2 to 4 hours (the time may vary depending on the desired intensity of the flavor).
You can also steep it overnight if you are preparing it in the evening for the next day, in which case only use 10g per liter
After infusion:
Step 5: Once the infusion is finished, filter the tea to remove the leaves. You will get a delicately fruity tea, without bitterness.
Optional additions:
- For an even more refreshing iced tea, add fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, apple slices or cherries) to the carafe while brewing, or directly to the glass before serving.
- If you want a sweeter taste, you can add a little honey, agave syrup, or sugar according to your preference.
Serving:
- Serve the iced tea in glasses filled with ice cubes. For an extra touch of freshness, add herbs like mint or a slice of lemon....
Benefits of cold infusion:
- Cold infusion gives a sweeter, more subtle and less bitter taste than hot infusion, which is perfect for fruity teas.
- It better extracts the natural aromas of fruits and flowers, offering a more refreshing and complex taste experience.
TIP:
- You can add ice cubes, but this is optional, it will keep your iced tea cold, but on the other hand will also dilute it, reducing its intensity significantly.
- Iced tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- This method is ideal for making a large quantity of iced tea for the whole day, or for special occasions!
