UJI MATCHA CONTROLLED APPELATION ORGANIC CERTIFIED

This matcha is quite special because it is a real Uji Matcha, the cradle of tea. It is in a way the "Saint Emilion" of the world of matcha. To obtain this controlled designation, the tencha leaves must be ground in Kyoto and from cultivated tea plants exclusively grown in the departments of MIE, NARA, SHIGAE or KYOTO.

The flavors of this matcha are umami, warm, creamy with a very balanced bitterness.
